FXNP This No-dilution Process monitor, can count and size particles
in silica CMPs and other clean slurries, without diluting them. Our
new focused beam sensors can measure the PSDs of particle suspensions
that are much more concentrated than those that can be accommodated
by conventional SPOS sensors. The complexity of the fluidics system
is greatly reduced, resulting in a system that is low maintenance
and highly reliable. Because less time is required to flush out the
system between measurements, analysis times are shorter meaning that
more can be made per hour. This results in tighter process control.
FXDP (Dilution Process) Like the FXNP, the FXDP uses our new focused
beam sensors, which can operate at higher concentrations. Because
there are slurries and other dispersions like inks and fat emulsions
that are so concentrated that they cannot be analyzed neat. These
kinds of products can be monitored by the FXDP system, which can dilute
an incoming sample by a factor of 1 to 1000.
The Online Accusizer FX is designed to take our laboratory instrumentation
known for high precision, accuracy, resolution and reproducibility,
and carry it to the process line. Customizable computer controlled
fluid-sampling devices are used to grab a precise aliquot of concentrated
in-line dispersion and automatically inject it into the AccuSizer
FX. The AccuSizer FX will allow users to quickly identify and quantify
small levels of aggregates a few standard deviations away from the
mean. In many process applications these particles spell the difference
between success and failure. The resulting PSDs, with unique single-particle
resolution, are identical to those that historically could only be
obtained in the research laboratory.
